If your stats—such as follower counts or engagement metrics—are showing incorrectly in the Vamp app, there are a few common causes. This guide will walk you through potential reasons and steps to resolve the issue.
Why Your Stats May Be Showing Incorrectly
1. Account Approval Delay
If your account was recently approved or you just downloaded the Vamp app, it may take 24–48 hours for your audience insights to fully sync and display accurate data from our partners (Meta/Instagram, YouTube, TikTok).
2. TikTok Follower Count Discrepancies
Occasionally, the TikTok follower count in Vamp may not match your actual count due to data sync delays.
How to Manually Update TikTok Followers in Vamp:
Open the Vamp app and tap the icon in the top-left corner.
Select Social Accounts from the menu.
Find TikTok and tap the edit icon next to it.
Adjust the Total Followers field to reflect the correct count.
Tap Save—your TikTok follower count should now be updated.
3. Discrepancies Between Vamp Stats and Instagram Insights
If Vamp stats differ from Instagram Insights, it’s often because Vamp collects lifetime audience insights, while Instagram may show data based on specific periods (e.g., last 7 days, last 30 days).

4. Rejected Platform Applications
If your Vamp application was rejected, we are unable to collect accurate stats from TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube. Without verified stats, your audience insights cannot be displayed in Vamp.
Additional Tips
Wait for the 24–48 Hour Sync: Allow up to 48 hours after joining or installing the app for stats to fully update.
Check Social Media Connections: Ensure your social accounts (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube) are properly linked. If there are syncing issues, try reconnecting the accounts.
