At Vamp, we understand that you're juggling many opportunities and collaborating with various platforms, brands, and agencies. We’re here to complement your existing work, not restrict it! However, there are certain guidelines around exclusivity that we’d like you to keep in mind when working with us.
Feel Free to See Other People 💞
We don’t demand that you work exclusively with Vamp. We understand you have multiple collaborations and opportunities that come your way, and we want to support that! Vamp is here to help you expand your portfolio while ensuring you're able to work with other agencies, platforms, and brands.
The only thing we ask is that you maintain integrity and professionalism when collaborating with Vamp. When you sign up for a Vamp brief, make sure you're able to meet all the requirements and obligations.
Exclusivity Clauses 🤝
The only time we’ll ask for exclusivity is when you apply for a campaign that has a specific exclusivity clause. This means a brand may request that you not work with a competitor or feature a competing product for a specified period (e.g., before or after your Vamp campaign).
If a brief includes an exclusivity requirement, we’ll always make sure to highlight this upfront in the brief so you can decide if it fits your schedule and commitments.
Exclusivity in the UAE 🇦🇪
Exclusivity clauses in the UAE may work a bit differently due to local advertising rules. If you're based in the UAE, make sure to read the relevant article specific to this region for further details on how exclusivity is handled.
Preaching to the Choir 😎
We don’t need to tell you this, but we want to make sure you’re aware: it’s not a good look if you post about a sponsored iPhone one day and then promote a Samsung Galaxy the next. 🙈
While it’s totally natural to use and appreciate different brands in your daily life, sponsored content should be strategically placed and authentically aligned with your feed. If you hop from brand to brand too quickly, it can harm your reputation as a trustworthy influencer and could diminish your value in the eyes of your audience and future brand partners.
Best Practices for Managing Multiple Brand Collaborations 👍
To maintain authenticity and professionalism, we recommend the following best practices:
- Avoid posting about competing brands directly before or after your sponsored post with Vamp.
- If your Vamp brief includes an exclusivity period, make sure to adhere to it exactly. This could be a period of 2x posts before or after your Vamp campaign.
Following these best practices will help preserve your authenticity in your followers' eyes and strengthen your relationship with brands you collaborate with.
